Peran Filsafat Sebagai Mobilisasi Perkembangan Moderasi Beragama Di Indonesia

Abstract

Religious moderation is a program initiated by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. The main purpose of this program is grounded, so that the mindset of the community in understanding religion and or interactions between citizens with different religions, ideologies, traditions and practices can respect each other. This research uses a qualitative method with a library research model. The main source in this research is the results of research related to religious moderation in Indonesia by studying it from a philosophical point of view. The findings of this research can be concluded, first, the concept of philosophy is thinking deeply, systematically, critically, radically to get the essence of a truth. While religious moderation also has a way of thinking, behaving deeply, so as to produce a moderate understanding (wasathiyah). Second, philosophy plays a very important role in the development of religious moderation in Indonesia, it can be seen from the concept of thinking deeply, giving birth to a moderate understanding and respectful attitude towards differences. Among the forms of philosophy that play a role in the development of religious moderation in Indonesia, namely 1) philosophy of religious philosophy that plays a role in religious moderation in Indonesia by providing construction so that humans think and behave moderately. 2) Islamic philosophy can help Indonesian people become wiser in assessing something, so that it can realize moderate behavior. 3) Perennial philosophy Perennial philosophy has a radical and inclusive point of view in finding common ground between religions. The main values of religious moderation, such as tolerance, inclusiveness, equality, and accommodating local culture, have a common vision with perennial philosophy.
