Bahan Herbal Mengandung Senyawa Flavonoid Sebagai Pengobatan Denture Stomatitis: Scoping Review

Denture stomatitis merupakan suatu peradangan mukosa mulut yang umum terjadi pada pengguna denture. Saat ini bahan herbal banyak dimanfaatkan sebagai pengobatan denture stomatitis mengingat keamanannya dan minimal efek samping yang ditimbulkan dibandingkan obat komersial. Salah satu kandungan bahan herbal dalam pengobatan dentur stomatitis adalah flavonoid. Flavonoid memiliki manfaat sebagai antiinflamasi antioksidan antijamur dan antibakteri. Tujuan scoping review ini adalah untuk mengetahui bahan herbal yang mengandung senyawa flavonoid serta efektivitasnya dalam pengobatan denture stomatitis. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode studi pustaka dengan tipe scoping review. Data dilakukan dengan pencarian melalui database Google Scholar, PubMed, science direct. Hasil pada scoping review dari 14 artikel yang dirivew terbukti bahwa bahan herbal yang mengandung senyawa flavonoid dapat menghambat pertumbuhan Candida albicans dan bisa dijadikan alternatif untuk pengobatan denture stomatitis
