Pendekatan Humanistik dalam Pembelajaran Matematika di Sekolah Dasar
Abstract
Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi pendekatan humanistik dalam pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar, dengan fokus pada strategi yang menempatkan siswa sebagai pusat proses belajar. Sementara pendekatan humanistik menawarkan banyak manfaat, beberapa pendidik mungkin menghadapi tantangan dalam menerapkan strategi ini secara efektif karena berbagai tingkat pelatihan dan sumber daya. Mengatasi tantangan ini sangat penting untuk memaksimalkan potensi filosofi pendidikan ini. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik analitis deskriptif yang melihat pengaruh implementasi pendekatan humanistik dalam pembelajaran matematika di sekolah dasar. Observasi yang dilakukan dalam penelitian tindakan kelas di kelas 4 SD Negeri 05 Pauh Lubuk Sikaping Kabupaten Pasaman ini menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan humanistik efektif digunakan dalam pembelajaran matematika siswa sekolah dasar
