ABSTRAC
Forest Park (Tahura) Dr. Moh. Hatta is one of the conservation forests located in Padang City, West Sumatra Province. One of the fauna found in this area is the long-tailed monkey which is an arboreal fauna that provides benefits to the forest ecosystem. Paying attention to the vegetation structure and the description of the natural feed of long-tailed monkeys is important to maintain the balance of the forest ecosystem. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct research on Plant Types and Vegetation Structure of Natural Feed of Long-tailed Monkeys (Macaca fascicularis Raffles. 1821) in Dr. Moh Forest Park. Hatta used the plot/quadrat method which was collected using nested transect lines. Based on the analysis that has been carried out vegetation found as many as 12 types with 9 families, The most common species found comes from the family Moraceae. The availability of natural food types of long-tailed monkeys at the tree level at the most dominant is Aglaia sp with an INP value of 67.97 and the lowest is Baccaurea brevipes with an INP value of 2.72%, while the pole level of the dominant vegetation type is Ficus variegata with an INP value of 40.66% and the lowest is Artocarpus elasticus with an INP value of 18.73%.
